About a two months ago I was at the DIY Fest in lower Charles Village and while on the way out I saw a guy hacking with processing and a Wii nunchuck. I was in a rush (girlfriend’s need to be fed) but I made a point of stopping and talking.
Since then I’ve been involved with the founding of Baltimore Node, a Baltimorean hackerspace in it’s infancy.
So far we’ve pulled together a handful of gatherings, researched organizational structures, looked at a few places and organized our first workshop.
I’ve been awed by how many hands can make a lot of work seem easy. In the meantime, I leave you with a video from NYC Resister, a hackerspace in NYC.
